Is Subconscious Mind Real?
Jan 27th, 2010 by Dee Marie

Subconscious mind is an essential part of all of us. There are many who even blame their unscrupulous doings on their subconscious minds. However, there are only a few who truly understand the subconscious mind and its amazing powers and abilities. This amazingly potent instrument can become our biggest ally or the most dangerous adversary. Interestingly, your life and your circumstances are all governed by your subconscious mind. Many people still don’t understand the true meaning of the subconscious mind and its significance in our lives.

You’ve probably heard stories that revolve around the subconscious mind. Everyday there are all kinds of seminars and television shows that talk about the true existence of unlimited potential surrounding your inner voice. It’s the way many of us utilize our unnatural abilities to build a successful for ourselves and those around us. It’s important to remember this the next time you hear that little voice in your head. It could be telling you to make a change.

It’s the mind within the mind and can become apparent at any given moment throughout the day. Subconscious mind power usually works without you being aware of it. The situation you deal with could be as small as keeping a glass of milk from spilling to bigger events like selling your home. Whatever the case may be it’s important to acknowledge the inner voice, even if you don’t agree with what it’s telling you. Once you’ve reached this pinnacle, then you can start training it to believe in positive situations.

Seriously, if you train your mind to build a positive aura around your inner thoughts, you will take out the negatives and replace them with a new way of life. One that will deliver good days instead of bad, profitable ones instead of stressing over bills, and situations that promote an overall healthier and better life for everyone involved. You just have to remember that it all starts with you.

Affirmations are one of the most popular ways of changing your thinking. These are nothing but positive statements which are repeated by the person through out the day. This is inexpensive and can be done at home as opposed to those expensive sublimal messaging scripts. All you need here is to know the change you want to bring about.

This can work for any situation if you use it wisely. The most important thing to understand is that you have spent years teaching your subconscious mind without even realizing it. You’ve had a ‘Case of the Mondays’ almost every single Monday throughout the year. Why is this you ask? It’s because you’ve spent decades only knowing one way to do things. In order to change it you must take a different approach.

As we reach new heights with our technology, research is able to give us a better understanding of how the inner mind works. It tells us that if we believe things will never change, then they will not. It tells us that if our deepest thoughts are enhanced with negativity then so will our life. Most importantly, it tells us that we don’t have to live this way if so choose.

To demonstrate how your subconscious mind controls your life, here is an example which all of us have experienced in some point in our lives. Most of the times if we happen to wake up late due to a malfunctioning alarm or some other reason, we often wake up in a bad mood. On waking up our thought is ‘Oh, no, this day is going to be difficult!’ As a result, you spill your coffee, burn your dress and may be even have a flat tire on your way to the office. This makes your think again and you say ‘it’s certainly one of those difficult days’. Your day becomes even more difficult with numerous impediments and there may even be a point in a day when you think ‘how worse can it get’ and then you realize loads!

One of our favorite stories we received is about divorced parents who both had divorced parents before them. They contacted us in hopes we could help train their children’s subconscious minds into understanding a positive way of life. One that will be full of stability for their future and transform their thought process. The reason we enjoyed this story over many of the others is because it was about someone else. However, it’s a great way to think about things a build a future for all of us.

What it comes down to is our society has come to agreement that the subconscious mind can perform extraordinary things to our lives. This was increasing popular after the documentary The Secret hit the Internet awhile back. It made people believe that if they trained their mind to be positive and free, the benefits would be much of the same.

Just as they did through ancient religions, you can use the positive benefits of the subconscious mind to build a successful future. Over time you will realize the difference. In fact, the more you train your subconscious mind, the more you’ll be able to see the changes at a faster pace.

People who have tapped the power of the subconscious mind have also been able to change their reality according to their desires. For example people who wanted wealth have known that visualization and firm innermost beliefs can only make them achieve their dreams and as result have become some of the wealthiest people in the world due to their subconscious mind.

Introduction to Guided Meditation
Jan 2nd, 2010 by Dee Marie

Guided meditation has its roots in western culture where it has traditionally been used by those interested in developing their psychic abilities and following a more spiritual way of life. In recent years guided meditation has seen a surge in popularity and adoption by a more mainstream audience who have come to realise just how relaxing and enjoyable it can be.

Guided Meditations are designed to take the listener on a visualised journey, they are not about stilling every part of your being as you would with a transcendental meditation. If you are the sort of person whose mind is forever racing in different directions or you sometimes struggle to quiet your thoughts then a guided meditation could be ideal for you. A guided meditation gives such people something to think about. Through listening to a soothing voice coupled with soft background music an over-active mind can be calmed and a state of gentle relaxation can be achieved.

If you are prone to stress then you could find this type of meditation particularly beneficial. We all have our daily troubles and woes and going on a visualised journey can be a fantastic way to escape for a short time. These journeys can take the listener to far away magical lands, or for those more experienced it can help them link to their Higher-self, their Spirit Guides and their Divine Creator.

In order to get the most from your meditation it is best to spend a little time preparing for it. Set aside some time when you know you will not be interrupted, switch off the phone and get comfy in your favourite chair or settled on your bed. An experienced guide will take you into quite a deep state of relaxation before bringing you back to reality gently, getting disturbed mid meditation can leave you a little disoriented. It is always a good idea to have a glass of water to hand as this can help to ground you after a meditation, to focus your attention and bring you back to the moment.

Many guided meditations have been developed to help people with the more common afflictions of modern day living such as stress, worry and difficulty sleeping. More specialised meditations have been produced to help people with illnesses, abusive pasts, perceived weaknesses and addictions. Other guided meditations are created simply to take you on a magical journey – perhaps you would like to visit the lost city of Atlantis, explore an Enchanted Castle or set out on a Shamanic Journey. Increasingly popular during the difficult times that many people are facing right now are angel meditations. Experienced guides will prepare you for your journey and get you to a destination before leaving you for a time, this allows you to explore on your own and means that your journey will be different each time you use the meditation.

Advanced and experienced users of guided meditations can use them to progress the abilities they have within themselves. Guided Meditation is a widely used method for developing the psychic and healing abilities in people and for providing a connection with our higher self and spirit guides.

Whatever your motivation for going on a guided journey, spiritual enlightenment or maybe just simple relaxation, one thing for sure is that you are going to feel less stressed and more at peace afterwards.

Ways to Make Your Spa Treatment Sound Perfect
Dec 23rd, 2009 by Dee Marie

A spa pampering is one way of alleviating stress that has been collecting in your body and mind. . having a spa pampering will get you in touch with the pressure that comes with a fast and active way of life. The benefits of a massage can be fully receivedonly when you are completely relaxed. If you are incapable of getting into a calm condition the massage might not have the effect it can otherwise have.

Getting ready for physical action which will never happen is the inevitableresponse of our bodies to stress and worry. Thus allowing our bodies to be hanging in a limbo ofstrain. The absence of physical actionalso gives no release from the accumulated stresswhich results in muscles becoming stiff and l osing flexibility.

How can we then prepare ourselves to be amenable to a massage? We can do a lot of things to loosen up but listening to Music is one of the most enjoyable methods. The environment that spa musiccan bring when used together with cool light and fresh environs can give lots of advantagesfor you.

Listening to the appropriate spa soundscan create really impressive benefitsto your mood. The appropriate music takes your mind of the causes of pressure and worry that has an effect on you in your daily life.

The therapeutic characteristics of the proper music have been known to practitioners of Ayurvedic therapy for a long time. This time-honored Indian healing technique believes that all things are made up of vibrations including our bodies. Blockages in the energy flow mean vibrations in our bodies are blocked and results in illness.

The healing techniques of Ayurveda believes that suitable music can restore good health to the body since the body is composed of vibration and the vibration of the proper music affects it in a positive way.

As a spa operator it is quite necessary to have the suitable music especially in themed spas. Playing music that is unsuitable can just add another source of stress and annoyance for your paying guests. This might just result in their escalating their pressure level instead of getting relaxed. You might just end up losing a patron instead of gaining paying guest.

The answer to this is to have your own private label CD collection that is purposely designed to augment the ambiance of your spa. Overall a Custom CD is the perfect way to go for your Spa.

Help Yourself By Revisiting Your Past.
Dec 4th, 2009 by Dee Marie

Do you know there are many more individuals who do believe in reincarnation than there are that do not? For some it is a way of life as in the instance of Buddhists and Hindus, as part of their religious beliefs. While many may be merely curious or looking to explore answers to some of the mysteries of life, many others may consider that it just makes the most sense when considering past lives. There are various ways to find out more about your past lives.

Keep a Journal

Did you know that keeping a journal is one of the best ways to begin exploring your past lives? Even recording trivial experiences along with the rest of your experiences can be very helpful. Since your emotional reactions provide you with the strongest clues when considering a past life, you should include your emotional reactions to events in your journal. This will be a record that you can refer to later, when assembling all your clues.

You can look for such clues in your present daily life. You can make lists of things that you may like and dislike, which may include anything from your childhood, foods, fashions, architecture, the climates, various cultures and historical periods. You may also consider including other things that come to mind, such as how you feel and what you think about your natural talents and gifts, fears or phobias, characteristics of your personality, birthmarks and scars as well as animals, occupations and those times you may experience deja vu. This is a sign of you remembering a past life.

Since dream time may include various hints and symbols concerning past lives, you should also record your dreams. Keep in mind that these symbols can be very clear, while they may also combine experiences or messages concerning this life or a past life. Upon falling asleep, you can make suggestions about what you would like to learn about from a past life and then write everything you can remember in your journal.

Past Life Regression Therapy ? PLRT

If you have the means to go to a professional past life regression therapist, go for it! They can help guide you through a regression and help you interpret the information you receive. There are a few places that train and certify these therapists. The International Association for Regression and Research and Therapies and the International Association of Past Life Therapists both train and certify professionals in this discipline. They may be able to help you find a therapist in your area.

The Power of Meditation

Meditation is one of the various ways to aid you in exploring your past lives. Although, meditation is a private technique that helps to find out about a past life, however, many individuals may have a hard time trusting the information that they receive, therefore, you should always trust your feelings and instincts when receiving such clues.

While meditating may feel like a daydream, and images are flowing in and out, there may be some valuable information coming through. Write it all down and ponder it later. Likewise, if you tell yourself that you won’t be able to do it or you won’t get anything, you won’t. Your mind is very suggestible, and it will retrieve what you tell it to.

Staring into the flames of a fire, or at any flame for that matter, can be beneficial for meditating although some people pr4efer audio stimulation instead, such as soft music. Of course not everyone requires stimulation as many prefer total silence instead.

A recent discovery using audio technology, known as ?binaural beats?, is proving to be extremely effective at inducing an instant state of relaxation. Test results show that playing sound waves of different frequencies into each ear, produces a state of relaxation just as deep and intense as that which is experienced by Zen monks.

No matter which form of meditation technique you may use, be sure that it is somewhere peacefully comfortable while allowing no disturbances while meditating for the best results.

Lie down or sit in a comfortable position, while being in a receptive and positive frame of mind. You will focus on relaxing your muscles while quieting your mind. When undesirable concerns enter your mind, simply acknowledge them and then let then pass, however it may take some practice to do so. You should focus on your heart, while not expecting anything but relaxing. When questions arise, ask them and then let them go. The answers will come to you, when you least expect them.

The images you receive will help you resolve something in your life, and that is what is important whatever your belief in reincarnation. It may not always be possible to prove that these images really are from a previous life, although many people do get enough information to actually research and verify names, places and events.

Interestingly, many individuals, do find that the people they love presently were with them in a previous lifetime, however, their relationship status may be very different. For instance, your brother may have been your father of husband in a previous lifetime.

Whether you choose to believe in reincarnation or not, for the most part, regression proves to be helpful for most people and for those who remain skeptical, regression will at least prove to be unimaginably interesting.

Calming Kids Namaste Yoga style.
Nov 2nd, 2009 by Dee Marie

Namaste yoga represents a style of yoga based on the Hatha Vinyasa yoga practice. The meaning of the word namaste comes from the Indian greeting and it can be translated as follows: nama means bow, as it means I, and te means you; therefore namaste literally means I bow to you. It is a form used when greeting someone or when departing. As for Namaste yoga, the practice focuses on the importance of breathing; the breath is the guide and thelotusflower body follows on the lines imposed by the breath. When greeting with namaste, the hands are placed together in front of the eyes while, bowing the head, and afterwards the hands drop down to the heart. The gesture implies a profound form of respect. Westerners perceive namaste in a different way than it is performed in India: westerners would say the word Namaste while making the gesture described above, while for Indians the gesture itself carries in it the word, making it unnecessary to pronounce the word while bowing.

Namaste yoga is often included in the practice of other yoga styles. The gesture namaste, the salute per se, is believed to enhance the divine love flow; when one closes the eyes and bows, he/she surrenders the mind to the divine in the heart. Ideally, Namaste yoga is a popular practice that opens and ends a yoga session, but it is usually done before completing the work routine, because it is considered that the mind and the body are more at peace then, not to mention the higher level of positive energy in the room.

The core of Namaste yoga is combined with the principles of Gautama Buddha, biggest Indian guru and the founder of Buddhism. Hence, a general consideration for all yoga styles is that the practice is more than a way to stay flexible or in good physical shape, as it is rather a way of life. Nevertheless, this doesn’t mean that one cannot benefit from Namaste yoga from the point of view of the physical fitness alone, it only means that if one gets interested in Namaste yoga, one will develop other preoccupations beside the immediate external reality. The yoga instructor offers Namaste as a token of respect and acknowledgment for the students, and in return invites them to connect with their lineage starting the energy flow from their hearts. It is rather difficult to properly perform various yoga positions, it requires practice until one is able to perform them with minimal effort.
