A good yoga class will give you the overall sense of being strong and stress free. Power yoga classes are becoming more and more popular because they are highly effective while being low impact on the joints of the body, which is great for those with knee or ankle problems. Power yoga classes also teach deep breathing techniques so that individuals learn to breathe from their diaphragm rather than their chests. There are many advantages of participating in a power yoga class. These classes are available in many specialized studios as well as in weight lifting gyms as well. A good power Yoga class should offer a variety of choices depending on the student. it should provide for different levels of yoga training from beginners to intemediates to proffessionals. The Power Yoga class should be modified to allow beginners to take part in the classes and also make the class harder for those that need an extra challenge. Well cushioned yoga mat with traction and yoga clothing that fit well and are stretchable, are the only requirement for a going to a yoga class.

Yoga Breathing Exercises, which are called Pranayama in Sanskrit are a very important part of a Power Yoga Class. A good Power yoga classes should teach deep breathing techniques so that individuals learn to breathe from their diaphragm rather than their chests. A few basics include Alternate Nostril Breathing

Nadi Sodhana is a yoga pranayama that is balancing , relaxing, and calming. Another one is Sama vritti or equal breathing is a yoga breathing exercise. Sama vritti pranayama helps calm the body and focus the mind. The various breathing exercises allow the body to get more oxygen to their system which gives them more strength and clarity of mind. These help them to remain calm and in a relaxed state of mind which is very usefil in an everyday life.
