Of the population only, it is said, only twenty five percent believe in the existence of reincarnation. It does not, however, necessarily prove that reincarnation does not exist. Every aspect of your current life including your health, your mental well being, and your social interactions can be linked to your past life. You are probably different in the past life, let’s say a warrior, a hero, an evil person, or someone who very unlike you now. Choosing Your Environment

The best place to meditate is one where you won’t be distracted and can spend time alone without distractions and noise. Find a comfortable area that gives you a feeling of peace and serenity. Put yourself in a state similar to that of a trance where you are aware but not aware at all. It is the same manner in which we deal with any sounds: you hear the sounds but you don’t focus on the sounds. They become a background symphony for the experience of the meditation, having no more significance than the background noises we hear and ignore all day long.

Using Your Breath

When you start to learn how to meditate you will notice that your mind is jumping wildly from thought to thought as our minds struggle to gain control once more. Let go of these thoughts and start to concentrate on your breath. Focus your attention on counting your breaths. As you breathe deep into your belly and then breathe out this will be a count of one. To help train yourself to quiet your mind try doing a series of 15 to 20 breaths. Breath in prana energy and breath out tension and anxiety. Prana is the life force of God. As we imagine breathing in prana we are learning to tap into the universal consciousness and fuel our bodies with this life giving energy.

How Do You Become A Lucid Dreamer?

Sometimes known as conscious dreaming, Lucid Dreaming is the art of keeping self aware and knowing that one is dreaming while in a dream. This includes being conscious that the events unfolding around you are only part of the dream and being able to exercise control over the dream. All of this is possible for the person who has learned how to use lucid dreaming.

The power of having complete control over the direction of your dreams is something straight out of metaphysical existence. Suddenly, all the limitations you ever felt in life just cease to exist.

However, is it really that easy to have lucid dreams? Can anyone experience lucid dreaming and reap the benefits?

Luckily, it’s really not that hard to begin lucid dreaming, as long as you are determined to learn it. There are proven ways to help you access this ability and use your untapped mental power.

Foremost, you must be absolutely clear about your objective in trying to master the art of lucid dreaming. Do you just want to have your own private playground in the form of lucid dreams, or there is some specific reason for developing this skill? This is easy to do by setting your alarm to chime just a couple of hours before you would normally wake up. Once the alarm goes off, simply wake up and turn it off and then go right back to sleep. You can enjoy your lucid dreams. In order for you to pinpoint the best time for lucid dreaming it is most helpful to keep a record of your personal sleeping patterns.

Lucid dreaming can actually help you fight sleeping disorders, like insomnia.
