With energy meditation, experts suggest that all things are made of energy. When you are doing a meditation like this, you are asked to think of everything in terms of energy. It is thought that negative energy is the main cause of all of our stress. This method gives us the chance to change negatives into positives.

Meditation is best performed alone to avoid distraction. However, some individuals do better if they are guided. For this, tapes and groups are available and you can download all sorts of guided meditations to help you. To get started on this kind of meditation, you need only find a quiet place.

With your eyes closed, try and “see” around you. See the objects around as balls of energy. They can be all different colors. Your imagination is the key in this particular meditation. It may seem difficult at first but it gets a lot easier with practice.

Throughout the meditation, your goal is to cleanse the room of negative energy. You do this by imagining pure whit light encompassing every inch, and abolishing the darker colors.

Healing by energy is also done this way. This type of healing is done in zones. Doing it in a meditation is easier when you are healing yourself – you can use a guided meditation for best results. The benefits are tremendous.

Mediation is a great alternative to antidepressants, but it is not cure all. Individuals should always consult their doctors before taking them off of their medication. For a quick energy boost, however, energy meditations do a world of good. You will find yourself less bogged down by stressful baggage, and you will feel physically healthier as well. It can provide increased health, greater focused, and abundant vitality. Taoist meditation relies on time tested Chinese principles of energy cultivation. It utilizes traditional Chinese knowledge about energy channels, varieties of energy, and energy manipulation. The main purpose is balancing the energy of a person to align with the natural, fundamental energy of the universe. One of the main practices is the retention, nurturing, and cultivated growth of life force.

Kaballah is originally Jewish, but has long since been adopted by people ranging from extremely devout Hasidic Jews to eclectic pagans. It uses a “Tree of Life” composed of ten signs to simultaneously represent the process of creation and the progression of the soul into increasingly refined states. By following the path, adherents purify their spirit and learns to command the forces of creation within themselves.

Prana yoga is another popular form of energy meditation. This style of yoga is learned in two stages. The first uses breathing techniques to control the flow of life energy. The second stage develops a purely mental control over the vitality of the body and spirit. Both phases also feature the cultivation and nurturing of energetic life force.

Many people overwhelmed by the modern world have turned to the ancient path of shamans to guide their energy practices. By working with various spirits and totems, they learn to transmute the energy within them into a clear and powerful force. Rituals, glyphs, and images are used to further align the adherent’s spirit and will in order to cultivate a vibrant life force.

How You Can Use Energy Meditation

Energy can be seen as everything around us. It is everything we see, everything we feel and even everything we dream about. This is why it is most often recognized among world religions that we are spiritually connected to the universe. All you have to do is realize this simple fact which can be done by the use of energy meditation.

If interested, use the following technique to become one with all of this energy and get in touch with your inner psyche in the process. The inner psyche can also be called your imagination or even the core of your existence.

First, seat yourself in a comfortable location. Then close your eyes while taking slow deep breathes for 2 to 3 minutes. Think positively while doing your breathing to pull up your positive energy. Think about all the things you are grateful for and how you are so happy to be alive.

Imagine that everything that exists is only energy, including the room you are currently in, the floors, food you ate earlier, absolutely everything. All of these things have combined to become one solid energy field of light. It can be a white light or some other color if you wish.

Now, imagine that you become one with this same white energy. As your body fades it becomes completely one with this energy. You will feel yourself starting to become at peace as if you know the answer to all the worlds questions. Almost as if you finally know where you really came from and what your purpose here on Earth is.

Once you are at this point of complete peacefulness you can begin to imagine all of that energy returning to its former state. This mental process assists in bring your mind back to the conscious world your body is in. Lay still for a few moments afterward with your eyes closed before getting up to fully bring yourself back to this physical world.
