One good way to begin is to start taking notes on anything which might be a part of a past life. Write down everything which could be a clue – your emotions may be the best thing to track. Also take note of any phobias you have which seem irrational to you; these may be clues and your notes may start to show patterns which can tell you more about your past lives.

Begin your journal with a thorough and comprehensive description of yourself, from your likes and dislikes to your preference for one culture over all others, your desire for a particular climate, and even if you have a particular affinity to a certain period in history.
