Subconscious Mind Power Throughout The Ages
Aug 31st, 2009 by Dee Marie

Remember when Kevin Costner started hearing voices in the Field of Dreams movie? While his family was struggling to make ends meet, these voices were saying, ‘If you build it they will come.’ Eventually it came to pass that he thought these inner voices were telling him to build a baseball field. This is in fact subconscious mind power at work

Your subconscious mind power will make you the person you want to be, create the life you want, and change things as they are to the way you want them to be; all from your subconscious mind. The mind is truly powerful and beautiful. With our subconscious minds, we can heal, transcend, feel good; or feel bad. Each of us has the power to change our worlds through the power of our subconscious minds, if we only choose to take control of them.

What is subconscious mind power? If you’re still skeptical it’s not like you’re the only person out there. We understand how difficult it is to go from doing something you’re used to everyday to changing the whole thought process. However, it’s important to keep an open mind about the material we’re about to provide. The scientific or medical explanation is the Placebo Effect. This is most common when two groups are formed to take medication without knowing who gets the real deal and who gets the placebo.

Testing things this way allows the observers to understand the intensity of the real drug, and the benefits from thinking you’re taking a cure. It’s kind of like in the old days when people were given peppermint pills thinking they were real medicine. Oddly enough they ended up getting better, which is why the power of the subconscious mind can be unbelievable.

Doctors even understand the importance of using the subconscious mind. In fact, next time you go to get a new prescription from your physician, see if he/she tells you about the side effects. Most likely not, because they don’t want to throw out all the negative aspects of taking a pill. Doing so will leave you either not wanting to take it, or ending up with the side effects even if they are unbelievably rare.

Unfortunately, it has taken us far longer to reach this understanding then it should have throughout history. It was used thousands of years ago by ancient religions and then realized years later. Once we figured out that the power of suggestion combined with subconscious mind power could change anyone’s life, it was much easier to train the mind.

While you can think about it all you want, there are several different ways to break the outer shell of the subconscious mind. The first thing we would like to see you do is close your eyes. Visualize just one thing that you want and picture the way your life would be if you had it. Now, just because you visualize a huge lottery win doesn’t mean it will happen. See, you have to play in order to win.

Another way to use your subconscious mind to change your reality is to actually find or create a physical picture. Let’s say, for example, that you want a specific kind of new car. Find a picture of that car in a magazine, or better yet, have a friend take a picture of you standing by that car. Hang that picture up where you can see it every day. The more you see it, the more you will imprint that vision of yourself with the car you want in your subconscious mind. And because your subconscious mind is so powerful, it will eventually make that become a reality.

The power of the subconscious mind is not newly discovered; many people have known about it for years, in fact, and use it to their advantage. However, until recently, it’s been a nebulous rather than scientifically proven fact. That’s changed with scientists’ discovery of the scientific process associated with the power of the subconscious mind.

Over the years, quantum physics has shed light on the ability to manipulate your pure energy with the mind. Oddly enough, it has also shown us that the energy wouldn’t even exist if not for the mind of the observer.

See, it may be hard to understand your first time going over the subject, but the subconscious mind is the reason your matter and energy is obtained. In the past we believed it to be the other way around. It’s a true testament to the fact that everything is created through the mind and why the subconscious mind is so powerful.

Long before our time, ancient religions lived by their understanding of the subconscious mind. Those who were dedicated to their beliefs even transformed the subconscious mind into powers beyond the thought of man. Some may believe its religion, some may believe its science, but in the end just acknowledging that it’s there is important.

At the end of the day you just have to ask yourself if there is something better out there. It may be a new career, a relationship, more time with the kids, or anything you’ve wanted for a long time. Whatever it is, you can have it by simply training the subconscious mind. Even though it sounds like a difficult task, we can help you make it as easy as it can possibly be.

Panic Symptoms – Recognise Any Of These?
Aug 31st, 2009 by Dee Marie

You may be having them, and you may not even realise it. I’m talking about panic symptoms. If you can recognise the signs, you can halt an attack in its tracks.

Heart racing out of control & difficulty breathing.

These two symptoms usually come together and they are a major sign of a panic attack. They can be caused by other health issues of course, so it’s a good idea to go for a full check up. If it does turn out to be a panic attack then time is critical.

Feeling irritated constantly.

In our busy world it’s not hard to feel irritated at everyone and everything around you. But this can easily be another panic symptom. If you are feeling irritated often, you could well be on the verge of becoming a victim.

Insomnia.

Not being able to sleep can be caused by a whole number of things. One of the reasons you may be losing sleep is that it’s a symptom of anxiety disorder. It’s worth investigating further if you are having trouble sleeping.

Constant worrying.

Everybody worries about things, and quite often. However most of us don’t sweat the small stuff. We can easily let it go. If you can’t let it go and worry far too much for your liking then you may be experiencing some form of anxiety disorder.

You can do something about it.

If you believe that you may actually be suffering some or all of these panic symptoms. The first port of call has got to be your own physician. Get checked out properly. You may even be able to quell any fears if you get the all clear from your doctor.

If however you are pretty sure there’s no underlying medical problems and you are still having some or all of these panic symptoms then you can do something about it. There are some great techniques available that will teach you how to recognise, and more importantly how to stop the attack from spiralling. The good thing is these techniques don’t involve nasty drugs or hypnosis.

If you are having any of these panic symptoms then the time to act is now. The solution to your problem could be at this website Panic-Stations.com

Raja Yoga is all about the spiritual and the mind
Aug 30th, 2009 by Dee Marie

Raja Yoga is called the king of Yoga. It concerns directly with the mind. In Raja Yoga, you don’t struggle with the Prana or the physical part of your body. This type of yoga has no Hatha Yogic Kriyas. When excercising Raja yoga, you sit in your posture with ease, concentrate on you thoughts and achieving peace of mind. Raja Yoga stills your mind, block out negative thoughts and enter a thoughtless state of mind or Asamprajnata Samadhi, hence the name Raja Yoga. Though Raja Yoga is a dualistic philosophy and treats of Prakriti and Purusha, it helps the student in Advaitic Realization of oneness eventually. Though Raja Yoga is mentioning the Purusha, ultimately the Purusha becomes identical with Highest Self or Purusha, or Brahman of Upanishads. Raja Yoga leads the followers to the highest step of the spiritual ladder of what we call Advaitic realization.

Patanjali’s Yoga system is written in Sutras. A ‘Sutra’ is a terse verse. It is an aphoristic saying. It is pregnant with deep, hidden significance. Rishis of yore have expressed philosophical ideas and their realization in the form of Sutras only. It can be very hard to get the meaning of the many different Sutras without the aid of a glossary, a commentary or a teacher who is an expert in yoga. A Yogi with full realization can explain the Sutras beautifully. The literally meaning of Sutra is a thread. Just as you put together flowers with all kind of different colours to beautify, just as pearls are arranged on a string to make a beautiful necklace, so are also the Sutras put together with the Yogic ideas. The Sutras are arranged into normal chapters.

The First Chapter is Samadhi-pada. It expains about the various types of Samadhi. It contains 51 Sutras. Difficulties with meditation, the control of five different types of Vritti, three kinds of Vairagya, information about Ishvara, various methods to enter into Samadhi and the way to acquire peace of mind by developing virtues are described here.

Sadhana-pada is the second chapter. This chapter contains 55 Sutras. It treats of Kriya Yoga, Tapas, the analyse and self-surrender to God.

History of Yoga and Its Archaeological Evidence
Aug 29th, 2009 by Dee Marie

The history of yoga is based during the epoch of the Indus Valley civilization. The yoga exercises and philosophies are practiced by the Indus to instigate spiritual growth and awareness. The yogis promote inner unification with the finite jiva or transitory self and with the infinite Brahman or eternal self. Yoga views man’s problem and suffering in terms of ignorance. Human beings simply bound themselves to materialistic things and forgetting to serve God, the source of all things. That’s why humans need enlightenment or an experience of union with God.

Earliest archaeological evidence indicated Yoga’s existence and can be found in engraved stone seals which illustrate figures of yoga positions. The stone seals depict yoga’s existence dating around 3000 B.C. However, archaeologists and scholars, have reasons to suppose that yoga existed long before that and traced its origins in Stone Age Shamanism. Both shamanism and yoga have comparable characteristics predominantly in their efforts to polish the human condition at that time. Both methods aspire to treat community members and the practitioners act as chief religious mediators or gurus.

A number of steatite seals were unearthed at Indus Valley Civilization sites describing figures in a certain yoga position. These meditation-like postures are forms of ritual discipline, signifying an originator of yoga. There are particular figures that were discovered in the core of Mature Harappan relics that indicate Harappan devotion to ritual discipline and focus and that the yoga poses may have been used by both humans and their deities. Some type of link between the Indus Valley seals and later yoga and meditation practices is backed by many other researchers.

These archeological discoveries allow people to cogitate with some good reason that an ample range of yoga activities was already accepted by the pre-Aryan India people. A seal recently revealed in the Cholistan desert evidently depicts a “yogi”. The puzzling Indus Valley seal images display figures in a position known in hatha yoga as Mulabhandasana. The genesis of the 200-scriptured Upanishads describes the inner vision of reality ensuing from Brahman devotion. Yoga also shares some attributes not only with Hinduism but also with Buddhism as well. Siddhartha Gautama, the founder of Buddhism, studied yoga and obtained enlightenment at the age of 35.

The Yoga Sutra, composed of 195 aphorisms or sutras, was written by Patanjali around the second century attempting to classify and even out yoga at that time. During the 1960’s, Hindu gurus gave further details about the system of yoga positions and its philosophies.
