Can You Benefit From Knowing About Past Lives?

While many thousands or rather millions have a certain level of curiosity regarding reincarnation, others find it to be the most common sense explanation with regards to the many mysteries which life lays before us. If we look a little further we will notice that the concept of reincarnation is the very cornerstone of many religions such as Buddhism and Hinduism, to name just two. It’s hardly surprising then that the number of people who believe in having had past lives, far exceeds the number of people who don’t believe in such a fascinating phenomena. Together with a little knowledge, there are various methods one can employ which can greatly assist you in finding out more about a past life or past lives.

Maintain a Diary or Journal of Experiences

A journal or diary is a very effective tool to have providing you use it to record all the past lives experiences you have. Furthermore, together with writing down your experiences, it’s fundamental that you make a note with regards to the way in which each experience affected you emotionally. This is extremely important due to the fact that one’s emotions are nearly always the most dependable indicator you have. A well kept journal with provide invaluable assistance in helping you place all the pieces together at a later stage.

You can look for such clues in your present daily life. You can make lists of things that you may like and dislike, which may include anything from your childhood, foods, fashions, architecture, the climates, various cultures and historical periods. You may also consider including other things that come to mind, such as how you feel and what you think about your natural talents and gifts, fears or phobias, characteristics of your personality, birthmarks and scars as well as animals, occupations and those times you may experience deja vu.

Record your dreams as best you can, since past lives may show up occasionally while you dream as well as any time that you may get a hint of a past life. Meditation

Meditation is another method of exploring your past lives. This is a private way of discovering information about past lives and needs discipline when trusting your own instincts and feelings about received information.

Meditation is often described as a dream-like state of mind and of course, to a great extent this is true. Just as in a dream, images will come and go and for the most part, these images provide us with potential clues as to our past lives. For this reason, one should always be ready to write your recollections down on some paper so that you can ponder over them at a later time when it is more convenient for you. Being highly susceptible to suggestion, your mind is able to recall any information which you instruct it to but on the other hand, if you don’t believe that it is possible to recall past life experiences, then it simply won’t be possible.

There are various forms of stimulation which people find to be beneficial for meditation and while some prefer silence, others prefer visual or audio stimulation. Such stimulation could for example include listening to soothing sounds such as the sound of the sea. Likewise, visual stimulation could include staring at the flickering flame of a candle or even the dancing flames of a slow burning fire.

Some interesting benefits have recently been found in audio technology using a process called binaural beats. This uses slightly different frequencies of sound waves, playing in each ear and has results of instance relaxation, similar to that of experienced Zen monks during their meditations.

You need a place of peace to practice your meditation, somewhere where you will not be disturbed, whichever method you choose.

Get yourself comfortable either sitting or lying down and ensure you are in a positive frame of mind. When things you do not want to think about enter your mind, acknowledge them and then let them pass. This may not come easily at first but with a little practice it will be second nature. Simply concentrate on nothing except relaxing and focus on your heart. Should any questions arise, ask them and then move on. You will discover the answers come to you when you are least expecting them.

Whether or not you believe in reincarnation or not, if the images you receive actually help you to solve any problems, then your efforts will not have been in vain. For many people, proving the authenticity of the images they receive is at best, impossible. On the other hand, there are many people who receive images of such a nature, that they are indeed able to research places or even names which have been revealed to them.

Interestingly, many individuals, do find that the people they love presently were with them in a previous lifetime, however, their relationship status may be very different. For instance, your brother may have been your father of husband in a previous lifetime.

Perhaps you believe in reincarnation and perhaps you don’t but the fact remains, irrespective of what you believe, transgression is most often very helpful and certainly, extremely interesting.

Ever since the beginning of time, mankind has searched for ways in which to improve the existence here on planet earth. Even today, we all long for so many things that would enable us to lead a happier life and yes, there are many claims which suggest ways of achieving this but you can be sure, cosmic ordering tops the list.

What is cosmic ordering? It is a spiritual practice where you are able to get from the universe everything it is you want in life. You ask, or order something, and you will receive it. While this is a spiritual process, don’t be swayed to think that you have to be a ‘Saint’ and only do good things in order to get what it is you want from life. Yes, that’s a benefit but not a requirement.

Cosmic ordering is the spiritual manifestation of your goals and dreams. You will ask for or order from the universe, what you want. This could be nearly anything. Perhaps you would ask for a change in your circumstances that will ultimately lead to the attainment of your desires.

According to Dr. Deepak Chopra and Dr. Wayne Dyer, to place an order with the universe you must be in, what they call the ‘field of intent.’ This is an energy field, that is obviously invisible, but it is where our spirit connects to the universe and then returns conscious desires.

There have likely been times in your life when you have done this and didn’t even know it. Think back to a time when there was something that you really needed or wanted and by a lucky coincidence you got it. This was cosmic ordering, not a sheer coincidence.

Using cosmic ordering has a lot to do with the power of intention, which is a combination of our desires and our belief that we can create a new situation and belief that we deserve what we are asking for. For cosmic ordering to work, you have to really want what it is you are asking for and you have to believe that you deserve it.

Many people wish for things such as a nice house but at the same time they don’t really believe they deserve one. This could be for many reasons but no matter what your reasons are, if you don’t believe you deserve what you’re asking for, you’re simply not going to get it. You need to believe beyond all doubt that you are entitled to have what you’re asking for.

In reality cosmic ordering is not hard. It is easily the simplest process you can undertake in order to make changes in your life. Is there a down side to cosmic ordering? As with everything in life, there are always two sides to everything. There can be a negative side if you think negatively. If you believe that bad things will happen then negative things will begin to occur.

The chances are, if you continuously think you’re about to become ill, you will become ill. This is a perfect example of just how much of an impact negative thoughts can have on our lives.

Many individuals have gone through years of their lives surrounded by unhappiness. They feel that they do not deserve anything better. This feeling of not feeling good enough is deeply ingrained in their personalities. These people will probable never be able to manifest what they truly want.

Sometimes you may find that your subconscious mind is at work against you in an ongoing effort to maintain life as it knows it. To be successful at cosmic ordering your subconscious must be prepared early so that it knows that it is okay to accept the changes you are actively seeking and therefore allow you to get all the things that you want.

It’s really not hard to effectively communicate with your subconscious. Communication can be through self-hypnosis, meditation and affirmations.

Develop Telepathy – Telepathy is a method of communication in which two people exchange thoughts, feelings and emotions directly between their minds. This is a mental capacity which anyone can use with enough practice.

All of us have latent telepathic abilities. This is something which most of us cannot use consciously, however; like any other skill, telepathy must be practiced. There are times when we use telepathy without even realizing it; but what of you could Develop telepathy to the point where you could use it at will?

There is plenty of skepticism about telepathy, just as there is about any other less commonly used natural mental ability which humans possess. Think about a time when you have used telepathy; for example, I bet you’ve been in a great mood when you run into a friend who is feeling down. Even after speaking to him or her for just a minute, you start feeling these sad, depressive emotions yourself.

Was it what they said? Not exactly – at least, it wasn’t their words that made you feel this way. This was in fact due to telepathy; your mind picked up on the emotions which they were transmitting.

There has been research which has shown that the part of the subconscious which governs telepathic abilities can be awakened and even used at will! The first step is to focus on the person you want to communicate with telepathically.

As with any other form of communication, we are taught as children by our elders. Our parents teach us speech and body language, so that we mimic the same language and even the same accents. This is because we all have the same ability to learn to communicate, but we only communicate in the ways in which we were taught.

The only thing this means is that you haven’t yet learned how to tap into this ability.

Here are some methods which can help you to develop your inherent telepathic abilities.

‘Mental-Muscle’ training

Just like you weren’t born knowing how to use your mouth and your vocal chords to speak, you have to train the appropriate part of your mind to use your telepathy.

It is easiest to access the part of your brain which controls telepathic function when you are in a trance state. You can reach this state of deep relaxation by using relaxation techniques including meditation.

You have to practice until it is easy for you to reach this state. Once you have managed to do this, you have started training your mind to use telepathy.

Focus

Learning to maintain your mind’s focus while you’re in a trance state can be quite difficult to master. During your next deep relaxation session, focus on someone you’d like to contact you.

Imagine this person and project happy thoughts. Visualize the person receiving your happy thoughts and feelings. Maintain your focus for as long as you think it takes the person to feel the connection between you.

Then, stop focusing and break the telepathic link. They will feel this line of communication being severed and try to reestablish contact between your minds.

The point of learning to focus while on your own is so that when you begin your training with a partner, your mind will already be receptive and ready to receive impressions and images more easily.

Partner Practice

One partner will be the sender and the other will be the receiver in this exercise. The sender should begin by projecting simple thoughts such as bright colors.

The receiver should keep a writing utensil and paper close at hand so that they can write down any communications they receive from the sender.

At the end of each practice session, compare notes and see how many images and impressions are correct. The more practice you get, the more accurate your image reception will become.
