Hypnosis And Subconscious Mind Power
March 1st, 2010 by Dee Marie

Do you remember the movie, ‘Field of Dreams, with Kevin Costner? In the movie, he hears the mantra, ‘If you build it, they will come.’ You may not know it, but you have your own ‘field of dreams.’ It’s your subconscious mind. With your subconscious mind, if you ‘think’ it, it will come. What will come? Whatever you want, truly.

Your subconscious mind power can completely change your life and give you whatever life you dream of. Unbelievable though it sounds, this is basically how your inner mind works and even though you may not know what is coming next, if you believe it will be good then it will be. What it comes down to is if you can use the power that comes from the subconscious mind, you’ll be able to control your own destiny.

If you’re skeptical, you’re not alone. However, give me a chance to show you with a few examples just how awesome your subconscious mind power is. One of my favorite examples is actually from the medical field, and works on a scientific basis. It’s been documented time and time again, actually, and it’s called the ‘placebo effect.’ The medical field has coined the term ‘placebo effect’ to denote a specific type of effect. Oftentimes, for example, this term is used during medical trials. The control group is given a ‘placebo,’ which is an inert substance that has no medical benefit whatsoever as a drug might give. It’s used as a counterpoint to the other group, which gets the actual medication. This is to clearly prove any benefit (or detriment) the drug itself might give. However, both groups are told what the medication is for and what it should do for them, and neither group knows which pill they’ve gotten; placebo or actual medication.

Testing things this way allows the observers to understand the intensity of the real drug, and the benefits from thinking you’re taking a cure. It’s kind of like in the old days when people were given peppermint pills thinking they were real medicine. Oddly enough they ended up getting better, which is why the power of the subconscious mind can be unbelievable.

Think about this in your own situation. Perhaps you haven’t been involved in any medical trials, but when you go to the doctor, are you told a specific medication is going to give you side effects? If the doctor minimizes side effects to you, don’t be surprised. A doctor knows how powerful one’s mind is, and may actually think telling you will cause side effects; through the power of your subconscious mind. Therefore, a doctor may minimize these negative things, in the hopes that you won’t experience them. Suggesting them, in other words, may increase your chances of having side effects. And of course, they also want you to be compliant with taking the medication, so that’s another reason to minimize the negative effects of the drug.

Unfortunately, it has taken us far longer to reach this understanding then it should have throughout history. It was used thousands of years ago by ancient religions and then realized years later. Once we figured out that the power of suggestion combined with subconscious mind power could change anyone’s life, it was much easier to train the mind.

While you can think about it all you want, there are several different ways to break the outer shell of the subconscious mind. The first thing we would like to see you do is close your eyes. Visualize just one thing that you want and picture the way your life would be if you had it. Now, just because you visualize a huge lottery win doesn’t mean it will happen. See, you have to play in order to win.

Another way to use your subconscious mind to change your reality is to actually find or create a physical picture. Let’s say, for example, that you want a specific kind of new car. Find a picture of that car in a magazine, or better yet, have a friend take a picture of you standing by that car. Hang that picture up where you can see it every day. The more you see it, the more you will imprint that vision of yourself with the car you want in your subconscious mind. And because your subconscious mind is so powerful, it will eventually make that become a reality.

This has been common knowledge for years, but we’re just now starting to put it into action. Well, some of us anyways, others have already utilized their secret potential hidden within the subconscious mind.

Then of course there are some of us who just don’t understand the way it works. If you’re into technical answers, the best one we can inform you with is that the solid subatomic level of matter turns into pure energy. This is evidence that has been proven with quantum physics and explains how you can manipulate that energy with the power of your mind.

Another portion of the explanation also concludes that it’s your mind that creates the energy in the first place and the reality of how it is used throughout the day. This means that your subconscious mind power is the creation of everything.

Remember how we were talking about the past and how others used it for many years. The most predominant area was amongst ancient religions. They were able to bring clarity to life and at times even accumulate supernatural powers. After being seen levitating off the ground and performing invisibility tactics, it was a true testament to what the future would hold. Somewhere along the lines we lost touch with this innovation, but thankfully it’s back in full swing.

So now, let’s go back to our original question. If you could change your life just by changing the way you think, would you? You can if you only harness the power of your subconscious mind. Use your subconscious mind to YOUR advantage, instead of letting it have control of you. Try it; spend the next week or so using visualization techniques or affirmations (or a combination of both) to get what you want. Start small so that you can get acclimated to this new power. Once you see that it works, change your life by changing the way you think;literally. Develop the power your subconscious mind, sit back, and watch what happens.
